Absolutely thrilled to have won this Award

#SBS Small Business Sunday Winner - Pink Aubergine Branded Bakes

It was one of those days I will always remember, all of a sudden my phone notifications went mad whilst I was feeding Ozzie (the dog), the first thought is panic – what’s happened?

However after looking, the panic was replaced by an amazing feeling when I realised that we had won Theo Paphitis #SBS Award.

What an honour, as a small Business it can feel like an ongoing uphill battle.  Recognition like this certainly gives the boost to keep going, stronger and better.

It has been a great year, in the post-Covid era we are finding that so many Businesses are wanting to celebrate not only their Company wins but also their colleagues, teams and those they work with.  The value of people, getting together and sharing is stronger than ever – and who doesn’t like a sweet treat.

So many exciting things coming up for Pink Aubergine, a long list of new products in testing at the moment – all ready to be branded and available gift packaged and displayed for events.

What is #SBS?

Known as #SBS, Small Business Sunday, is a Twitter-based campaign launched by Theo, the entrepreneur famous for his role on Dragon’s Den.
Theo selects six small Businesses every week from the thousands who apply, and re-tweets their entry post.

The idea behind the award was to celebrate the diversity of small businesses across the UK and create a supportive network. It also gives winners the opportunity to attend a day of business talks, help and advice organised by Theo and his team.

Theo said: “My #SBS small businesses are under 1% of those who have entered my competition, and they all have something in common; that entrepreneurial fire in their bellies and a will to succeed.”
